Please note that Australia Awards will only be offered to persons who apply for a Scholarship in the prescribed manner and are selected through the formal selection process.

Under Australian law, disability includes physical, intellectual, psychiatric, sensory, neurological and learning disability, physical disfigurement, and the presence in the body of disease-causing organisms. People with disability who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for an Australia Awards Scholarship.
